Before joining Ibantu, Damar worked for AIA Singapore PTE LTD for 16 years.
Damar has significant experience leading transformation programs at banks and insurance companies with an emphasis on Wealth Management, Risk Management, Compliance, and Leadership.
As a Financial Services Director at AIA, he has worked extensively with clients on strategy, growth, organization, and operational improvement issues.

Damar also provides regular feedback to group management on setting overall strategic direction, managing transition, building effective leadership teams, and driving added value.


He is a former Member of the Hall of Honour of AIA and served as an Education Chairman for Financial Services Managers of Singapore and has groomed more than 60 young advisors before leaving the industry in 2018.


He is a passionate supporter of a wide range of social impact activities, particularly related to sustainability. He is particularly interested in impact investing and Islamic Wealth Management in the Islamic Finance industry.

Kusnan Sayuti​

CEO of iBantu Indonesia

Hold A Master of Science in Islamic Finance from INCEIF University Malaysia. His research interest is In various fields including Islamic finance, Islamic studies, Shadow banking, politics and humanities. Some of his writings have been published in Inside Indonesia, New Mandala, Oerban institute, sage publishing and Routledge. And actively conveys his thoughts in several international seminars and symposiums such as the symposium on Sustainability Economics and Business at the Turkish academy of science.

Experienced at a managerial level in the Islamic Banking Industry in Indonesia with specialization in marketing, MSME business analysis and personal branding. Currently, he is actively teaching at several universities in Palembang and running an NGO in the field of informal education for poor and street children as well as the preservation of cultural wealth in the city of Palembang, South Sumatera, Indonesia.

Salman Abdurrubi Perwiragama

Young shariah scholar with Arabic and English literature exposures getting involved in Middle East and United States companies to contribute more than 20 articles related to shariah, finance, and investment. 

Certified by National Shariah Board (DSN-MUI) of Indonesia, he serves as a member of shariah board in some islamic micro-finance institutions located in East Java Indonesia. In addition, he is actively providing trainings and workshops in the area of shariah contracts for such institutions. Islamic Law of Contracts (Fiqih Muamalat), Islamic Jurisprudence (Usul Fiqh), Shariah Governance for Islamic Financial Institutions are some of areas of interest in which he passionately shares and discusses with public.

Fachru Nurul Umam

Fachru Nurul Umam holds a Bachelor Degree on Islamic Finance at International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). He also received his Master of Science in Islamic finance from Inceif University under President Scholarships Award from Central Bank of Malaysia. Area of interest in Islamic banking, financial statement analysis and bank management. He actively involves in consulting and training on enterpreneur SME’s in constructing islamic contracts, sales and driven business strategy.

Graduated from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) as a Bachelor of Computer Science. Currently, pursuing a master program in University of Malaya in the field of Data Science. His field of interest is related to artificial intelligence and big data. He likes doing sport and outdoor activities. Passionate about meeting people and sharing knowledge.
